God is engaged at the grassroots where people live their lives, grapple with relationships, struggle for justice and search for meaning and fulfilment. Grassroots ’08 is a unique gathering that offers you and your community inspiration and practical ideas from some of the world’s most imaginative mission-shaped thinkers and doers. It invites people from around the country to join a community of curious souls to engage in conversation around cultivating authentic missional communities.

Grassroots, Forge’s National Festival 2008, was held April 11th to 13th 2008, and is the next generation of the Dangerous Stories Summits of recent years. The Festival celebrates dangerous stories now in the city, engaging global concerns and interacting with local artists and musicians as well as other grassroot heroes who are missionaries.
